Which car to choose
The Lamborghini Urus Performante answers the search “drive a Lamborghini” the way people want it as a gift: he is not watching from the passenger seat, he is driving. Power goes to all four wheels all the time, through a Torsen centre differential. The manufacturer talks about traction on low-grip surfaces, so the Urus stays on the list if the voucher is used in the cold season. It is the choice for a recipient who wants a gift that feels like an event.
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 suits a man who cares more about the vehicle itself than about speed. It has permanent all-wheel drive, three selectable differential locks and a low-range gear, and the maker says one gripping wheel is sufficient to keep the car going. The Audi RS3 is for someone who likes spirited driving but does not want a big body. Which package to choose
If the recipient lives in Warsaw and wants a single day out, the 1 day package fits. For a weekend trip out of town there is the 3 day package, and for a long route a week: the 7 day package includes insurance and assistance in the EU. The 8 hour package is meant for a special occasion such as a wedding or a photo shoot. If you do not know what the recipient will want, take the open voucher: it lets him choose both the car and the duration.

A Lamborghini ride: behind the wheel or not
In searches for “przejażdżka lamborghini”, people most often look for a product where the person rides as a passenger or drives laps on a closed track under supervision. That is a different service, sold by track-day organisers. An Aurex voucher differs in that the recipient takes the car under the general rental rules and decides where to go. So before buying, work out what the man actually wants: to sit behind the wheel for a day, or to feel speed once next to a professional. If it is the second, choose the track organisers’ offers and keep the Aurex voucher for the first case.

Winter and tyres
In Poland there is no calendar-based duty to switch to winter tyres. The police give 1.6 mm as the minimum tread and recommend at least 4 mm for winter tyres, and winter or all-season tyres are recommended once the cold sets in. A fine or penalty ticket is possible for an unsuitable vehicle condition, and after an accident an insurer may see unsuitable tyres as driver negligence.
Ask the manager about the tyres on the chosen car when you place the order. On an icy or snowy road all-wheel drive helps but does not replace tyres. If black ice is forecast for a January trip, it is better to change the date in advance: free cancellation applies up to 48 hours before pickup.
When to order the voucher
According to surveys, in Poland people start buying gifts in December: 40% of respondents start shopping on 1-15 December, 29% in November, 7% in October, and about 9% leave it to the last days. Last-minute buying is more common among men than women: 11% against 7%. These are market survey figures, not ours.
By market practice, an electronic voucher needs no delivery and can be bought later, while a printed one is better ordered early, going by carrier deadlines: in 2025 the last dispatch dates for Christmas were 21-22 December, and for 2026 they have not been announced yet. How to hand it over, how to choose the date and what the recipient needs
The voucher can be given in an envelope or a box, with a card inside carrying a few warm words and a list of what to bring. By market practice, the recipient enters the voucher number or contacts the company, names a date and waits for confirmation. Aurex suggests putting your own date or amount in the comment on the request.
Put a card next to the voucher in case the recipient has never rented a car of this class. Three lines are enough: the company’s phone and e-mail, the list of documents and the rule about cancelling 48 hours ahead.
On pickup day the recipient needs a passport or ID, the driving licence itself, plus a bank card issued to the driver for the deposit. That is what the rental terms say, and the way the deposit is taken is best confirmed with the manager. If a second person will drive, they are added to the contract and must meet the same limits of 21 years of age and 2 years of driving. A licence issued in an EU country is valid in Poland without exchange. Within Poland you can drive on the basic terms, while a trip abroad needs written approval and a surcharge for extended insurance.
The car is handed over at the Warsaw office, or elsewhere by arrangement. At pickup the condition of the car is checked and a report is drawn up, and on return the same amount of fuel is expected as was in the tank at the start. Insurance is part of the rental: compulsory liability cover and collision cover, and the excess depends on the model and can be lowered for a surcharge.
Choose the date with some margin. Free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before pickup, and a later cancellation carries a fee as a percentage of the rental cost. It is best to set the trip for a weekend and, in the winter months, keep a spare day in case of bad weather.
