The AMG GT 4-Door Coupé exists to fill a gap: customers wanted the silhouette of the two-door AMG GT but needed four doors and room for passengers. The result is a four-door coupé with a falling roofline, a large tailgate and a cabin in which four people travel without compromise, while keeping proportions that read from the outside as a sports car rather than a saloon.
The 53 variant occupies a particular place in the range. Instead of a V8 it uses a turbocharged inline six with an EQ Boost mild hybrid system, in which a starter-generator assists the engine when pulling away and accelerating, and an additional electric compressor eliminates turbo lag at low revs. Reviewers describe the arrangement as unusually refined: throttle response is instant, and transitions between combustion power and electrical assistance go unnoticed.
The GT 53's character is consequently different from the V8 versions. The appeal is not drama and volume but fluency — this is a car that travels quickly without raising its voice. For many owners that is an advantage rather than a compromise, particularly for daily use and on longer journeys.
The AUREX example is a 2021 model year. The powertrain is a 3.0-litre AMG M256 turbocharged inline six with EQ Boost mild hybrid assistance, a nine-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G gearbox and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. Zero to 100 km/h takes 4.5 seconds and top speed is 285 km/h.
Factory output for the GT 53 in this model year is 435 hp (320 kW) at 6100 rpm with 520 Nm from 1800 rpm. The EQ Boost system briefly contributes a further 22 hp and 250 Nm when pulling away and accelerating. Catalogue figures are confirmed for the specific car when you book.
The body is a four-door coupé in liftback form, with a large tailgate that in practice offers more usable space than a conventional saloon boot. From the factory the model comes in either a four-seat configuration with a split rear bench or a five-seat one; we confirm the layout of this example when you book. Equipment includes a modern infotainment system with smartphone integration, comfortable sports seats, driver assistance and parking support. The 285 km/h top speed is the second highest in this fleet after the Lamborghini; the remaining models are limited between 240 and 275 km/h.
This car copes with the city better than most machines of similar silhouette. The mild hybrid smooths pulling away in traffic, and 4MATIC+ gives confidence on wet surfaces in autumn and winter — unlike the Mercedes-AMG SL 43 from the same fleet, which drives the rear axle only.
Dimensions are typical for the executive class: the car is long, so manoeuvres need planning in the narrow streets of the Old Town and Powiśle, but the Wisłostrada, Trasa Łazienkowska and the garages of newer office buildings present no difficulty. The low front bumper needs attention at car park ramps and speed bumps.
The Clean Transport Zone in the central districts poses no restriction for a 2021 petrol engine. You can collect the car from our office at Nowy Świat 54/56, right in the centre, or we will deliver it to the Chopin Airport terminal, to Modlin, or to any other address in Warsaw.
Business representation is the primary scenario. The GT 53 looks like a sports car but has four doors and real passenger space, so it works for collecting a business partner from the airport rather than only for parking outside a hotel. The refinement of the powertrain means you can hold a normal conversation in the cabin.
The second scenario is a weekend trip for four: the large tailgate swallows luggage for four people, which no coupé in this fleet can offer. The third is a wedding or celebration where the silhouette matters but rear doors are needed too.
The fourth is long-term rental. The GT 53 is one of the more sensible choices in the catalogue here: a mild-hybrid inline six uses noticeably less fuel than the eight-cylinder alternatives, all-wheel drive works year-round, and the body is versatile enough for both work and weekends. Terms for extended periods are agreed individually.
Two AMGs in one fleet, both with turbocharged engines instead of V8s, serving entirely different purposes. The GT 53 is a four-door coupé with all-wheel drive, genuine rear seats and a large tailgate: a year-round car. The SL 43 is a 2+2 roadster with rear-wheel drive and a folding roof, where the rear seats are for children or luggage: a seasonal car, realistically for two.
Performance is close: the SL 43 reaches 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and tops out at 275 km/h, the GT 53 in 4.5 seconds and 285 km/h respectively. The real difference lies elsewhere. You choose the GT 53 when four people are travelling or when the car has to work regardless of the weather. The SL 43 when two are travelling and the open roof is the point.
Practically: from October to April the GT 53 is the obvious choice in Warsaw. In summer the SL's argument becomes hard to dismiss.
This is a car for routes where pace and comfort matter equally. The first direction is Kazimierz Dolny on the S17 through Puławy: a hundred and forty kilometres, with the prettiest stretch running along the Vistula just before you arrive. The extended version continues to Nałęczów and Lublin.
The second direction is Masuria on the S8 through Ostrów Mazowiecka: four hours with four aboard, the distance at which a large four-door coupé performs better than any two-door car in this fleet. The third, shorter, is the Zegrze Reservoir and Serock — forty minutes from the centre for a day trip.
For travel abroad the natural direction is Berlin on the A2, roughly five hundred and eighty kilometres, with sections of derestricted German autobahn. Travel outside Poland requires prior arrangement.
Factory output for this version is 435 hp (320 kW) with 520 Nm, plus brief EQ Boost assistance of 22 hp and 250 Nm. The remaining figures: 4.5 seconds to 100 km/h, 285 km/h top speed, 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and a nine-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT gearbox.
The GT 53 belongs to the GT 4-Door Coupé line — four doors, four seats and a large tailgate, while keeping the falling roofline characteristic of a coupé. The two-door AMG GT is a strict two-seat sports car built on a different platform.
Yes. We deliver to the Chopin Airport terminal, to Modlin and to any address in Warsaw. It is one of the most requested cars for airport collection thanks to its generous luggage space and four seats.
The GT 53 is a four-door coupé with 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, full-size rear seats and a large boot: a year-round car. The SL 43 is a 2+2 roadster with rear-wheel drive and a folding roof whose rear seats are for children or luggage. The GT 53 is more versatile, the SL 43 better in summer.
Yes. 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the refined powertrain make it one of the two best cars in this fleet for year-round use, alongside the BMW X7 and the G63.
Yes, but travel abroad requires written consent and an additional charge for extended insurance. Tell us the destination and dates when booking so we can prepare the paperwork in time.
